IPMA-webinaari 20.3.2025

The EU is committed to becoming climate-neutral by 2050, according to its climate law. Cities are key actors in implementing the change, and an EU mission targets 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030. This webinar discusses the transition to climate-neutral and smart cities, reviewing the current state, challenges and drivers. It introduces the present debates around the definition and assessment of climate-neutral cities, along with the implications of alternative approaches. You will also learn about Climate City Contracts, which are being used as a key tool to design and communicate the political commitment, actions and investments required for climate neutrality.
