By joining Young Crew you can:

• Network: meet other young professionals and more experienced professionals, grow your relationships with project professionals both in Finland and internationally.
• Learn: learn more about the project industry by talking to other members and attending events.
• Practise your skills: You can act as a project team member or project manager, organise events and create new activities according to your own interests.
• You will grow and develop as a project professional and gain experience in running your own projects.
• Grow and develop your skills and develop your project management skills.
• By joining Young Crew, you will also become a member of the Association of Project Professionals. When you join, you can either already be a member – in which case you can just sign up for activities – or you can apply for membership when you join the YC. As a member of Young Crew Finland, you can take advantage of all the PRY member benefits, including free or discounted participation in interesting project-related events and webinars.

How can I get involved?

You can join us as a participant or you can come and help build and develop the activities. These steps will get you started.

1. Follow us on social media. You can find us on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. You can also subscribe to our newsletter below. In the newsletter, we’ll tell you about upcoming opportunities a few times a year.
2. Get involved in our events. We will inform you about our upcoming events on social media.
3. Become a YC member and enjoy all the benefits of PRY membership. Membership is significantly cheaper for members under 35, so it’s worth taking advantage of this benefit.
4. If you want to practice project management and leadership, you can join the project team. The workload depends on the project. You can join by sending an email to yc@pry.fi. You need to be a member to apply for these roles.
5. If you want to be involved in building Young Crew Finland’s activities and decision making, you can apply to become a member of the YC Board. Members are elected for one year at a time and the application deadline is usually at the end of the year. By applying, you commit to a one-year term. Find out more at yc@pry.fi.
